Angel and Ian were married March 18th, 2017 at The River House in St. Augustine, Florida. The whole day was so elegant and classic (two of my favorites) and I loved the look that Angel put together.
Angel and her girls began the day getting ready at a gorgeous bay front rental home with beautiful views and tons of natural light pouring in. The bridesmaids wore emerald sequined Badgley Mischka gowns and Angel looked like an actual angel in her Oleg Cassini ballgown with a sheer lace back and sleeves. She completed her princess-esque look with a tiara from Buckingham Palace that her father had gotten for her on his travels!
Ian and his groomsmen got ready at the New Collectors Inn nearby. I loved Ian’s choice of a white blazer, black bow tie, and black pants (such a classic look!) and his groomsmen complimented him perfectly in black tuxes.
The couple’s first look was at the Lightner Museum and it was full of emotion, sweet moments, and some cheers from the bridal party. We shot the formal portraits around town and then headed to the River House to relax for a few minutes before the sunset ceremony.
The ceremony was short and sweet. You could feel the joy radiating from everybody in attendance and it was a beautiful thing to be a part of. After the ceremony, it was party time and guests danced the night away. Some of my favorite moments from the reception were Angel’s father’s toast, the best man and maid of honor toasts, and of course the delicious spread of desserts from Alley Cakes!
Angel and Ian are a beautiful and fun couple and it was such an honor to photograph their special day!
